The mail is the one final hope for resurrecting a dead planet from its ashes, and the letter carriers are the brave soldiers of God in this righteous crusade. They are the defenders of the light of knowledge, free communication, and the exchange of ideas. They are the bold toters of all those little papery conduits of freedom, the white postmarked angels that whisper a message on their deliverance, a promise to the yearning: “There is hope yet.”

Yes I love Homestuck too. Shuttup. This was supposed to be a little doodle and it got bigger so welp, on dA it goes.

You have no idea how much I love Peregrine Mendicant though. I hope we learn her real name one day, and not just her Exile pseudonym. I’ve been sketching Agents/Exiles a couple of times recently, trying to figure out how they would look realistically with their carapace-ness and lack of ears and noses and weird proportions and things. Everything I draw with an exoskeleton ends up with a crapload of texture, PM here included. I drew the males with even more, with slight crabby points on their shoulders and stuff.

If you have no idea who PM is, she is a character in the multimedia webcomic Homestuck. We follow her mainly in two different timelines: one in the “present” along with the main characters (as an Agent and a mail lady), and one in the future, where she is an Exile wandering the blasted surface of a suspiciously familliar planet. She’s tall and apparently quite pretty, for an Agent.

Random background is very random. I know she travels around the Medium and between the two Kingdoms delivering things, but I didn’t feel like drawing any specific place so… maybe she’s between places?
